Tickets to events held at the hotel booked on the phone, by email or using the digital platform Fango or Res Diary are non-refundable after the purchase date. Please contact the events team for further information at events@greendragonhotel.com where applicable food orders must be submitted in advance. If your deadline is missed your meal will be selected automatically. If the event is cancelled or postponed, you will be entitled to a full refund. Please ensure your contact details are correct on your booking so that our events team can contact you directly. Your information is collected for the purpose of securing your tickets and won’t be shared with third parties without your consent unless required to do so by law. We will always comply with UK GDPR legislation. GDH reserves the right to add or amend the conditions at any time. Upon purchase of your ticket, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions for this event.

Christmas Party Nights: This event is for ages 18 and over. All deposits are non-refundable. When you secure your tickets, you have 7 days to pay the first £25 pp non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. The first non-refundable deposit is due 30.09.2024. The final non-refundable payment is due by 30.10.2024. The Green Dragon Hotel reserves the right to cancel any date that does not reach a booking capacity of 60 guests; payments will be refunded or transferred to another date, and additional fee changes will apply. Hotel rooms and packages featured on the Green Dragon Hotel website are subject to the following terms and conditions. You agree to abide by the following terms when making a reservation through the Green Dragon Hotel website.

Credit card details are required in each instance and a deposit may be required to guarantee your reservation. Full details are confirmed to you at time of booking. You are responsible for paying the hotel the remaining balance owed during your stay.

Where the hotel’s currency is different to your own, your card will be charged at your bank’s rate of exchange on the date of booking.

All bookings are subject to our cancellation policy. When you make a booking, you are confirming that you have read and agree to the cancellation policy and the terms and conditions shown. If you need to cancel your booking, please do so by midday the day before arrival, or the first night’s accommodation will be charged to your card. These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with GDH standard reservation policy.

Check In time is 14:00 GMT – Checkout time if before 11:00 GMT. Early check in is subject to prior arrangement and availability, charged at £25 from 12:00 GMT. Late checkouts are subject to availability and are charged at £25 per hour until 14:00 GMT where a full night will be charged.

Advance Purchase Packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable and payment is taken at the time of booking.

Cancellations must be notified to the hotel by email or in writing. Details are shown on your booking confirmation.

The Green Dragon Hotel requires all guests to provide a valid credit or debit card on check-in. The hotel will pre-authorise your card for your full room rate (unless room rate paid in advance) plus £25 per night per room for any additional charges which you may incur during your stay with us. Payment can still be made in CASH on check-out for any charges if incurred. A ‘pre-authorisation’ is not a charge. The guests’ issuing bank/credit card company holds the pre-authorised amount temporarily from the available balance of the card holder’s account for the hotel to use. Pre-authorisation is a common process followed within hotels in the UK at check-in. The way it works is that a pre-authorisation request is made by the hotel’s card terminal to the card holders’ bank, your bank/credit card company authorises the funds and sends an authorisation code to the hotel. This confirms the availability of the requested funds in the card holder’s account to cover charges in the hotel (if any). This authorisation code is expected to be used when the transaction is about to complete (that is on check-out). If the authorisation code given by your bank/credit card company is not used by the hotel, this means that your account had no incidental charges during the stay OR the hotel has secured funds through other means (Cash or another card) and has had no need to use those blocked funds OR does not wish to proceed with the transaction due to other reasons. If on check out, a guest decides to pay using Cash or with an alternative credit/debit card (different to the one provided on arrival); the amount is taken from the first credit/debit card normally takes 7-10 working days to be released back to your card by your own issuing bank or credit card company. Some issuing banks and building societies may take longer especially for cards issued outside of the United Kingdom. If you have any queries or problems regarding the pre-authorisation after check out please contact your issuing bank/credit card company. The Green Dragon Hotel accepts no responsibility for any bank or credit card charges should your account become overdrawn as a result of this.

We do not guarantee specific rooms, but will aim to honour any requests, subject to availability. Where booking deposits are taken (as set out on your booking confirmation), these may be non-refundable at any time, further information will be provided in your confirmation letter or function contract.

We recommend taking out personal travel insurance when booking, should you need to cancel for any reason.

Please be prepared to show a valid passport, driving licence or other photographic ID on check in for the purposes of confirming your identity if travelling from overseas or if paying by cash on check in.

Minors or vulnerable adults must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times.

For the purposes of rooming allocation and charges, children are classed as anyone under the age of 16, and adult charges will apply to anyone over the age of 16.

No more than 2 adults are allowed to share a room.

Any damages to hotel property must be paid for.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel, including fire escapes. Penalty charges will be applied to anyone smoking on the premises.

The hotel does not guarantee or reserve car parking spaces. Cars parked in any of the recommended car parks are entirely at the owners risk. We strongly urge guests parking their cars to familiarise themselves with any parking laws, restrictions and charges as set by the parking provider.

Please inform us on booking if you wish to bring a pet. We have limited availability for pet friendly rooms, subject to prior arrangement and charges apply.
