Directions
Located in the historic heart of the city of Hereford, The Green Dragon Hotel is an easy 15-minute walk from Hereford Train Station, and we are under 2 hours by car from Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff. Pay and display parking is located at the rear of the hotel on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note Hereford May Fair will be taking place from 5th – 7th May 2026 please read the Pre-arrival information to help plan your journey.
Checking In
Guests are welcome to check in any time from 2 pm. We have a secure luggage facility should you wish to arrive earlier, drop off your bags and explore the area before settling into your room.
Parking
There is a car park behind the hotel for residents to use. The car park is owned and managed by a third-party company, Euro Parking. Reservations cannot be made; parking is limited to a first-come, first-serve basis. If travelling by car, please use postcode HR4 OBU to find the car park on Aubrey Street.
If you park in the car park marked for hotel guests, please pay at the terminal inside the hotel at reception upon check-in.
If the car park is full, there are several easy-to-find NCP car parks in the immediate area.
