Beer on the Wye, Hereford’s annual beer and cider festival is back and is set to return to Hereford Rowing Club.  As you might expect for an event based in Hereford there will be the very best range of ciders and perries from our local producers as well as some from the neighbouring counties. In total there will a choice of 130+ draught ciders and perries (over 100 from small Herefordshire producers).

May Fair

Early May

Set throughout Hereford High town and continuing down broad street just outside the hotel is the May Fair. Heart-stopping rides, side-shows, food stalls and ancient ceremonies are all part of the street extravaganza which is Hereford May Fair. The fair has been taking place for over 900 years.

A ceremonial proclamation of the historic St Ethelberts Fair (May Fair) officially opens the fair, offering 12-and-a-half bushels of wheat by the Mayor to the Lord Bishop as payment for allowing the fair to proceed.

OKTOBERFEST at The Yard

The creators of Hereford Indie Food Festival bring you all the festivities Oktoberfest has to offer with authentic german beer and oompah stompers accompanied with food by Burger Shop.

Borderlines Film Festival

Now regarded as one of the UK’s major arts/cultural events, Borderlines Film Festival has 22 screening venues throughout Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and the Welsh Borders.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival

Set against the magnificent Malvern Hills, the RHS Malvern Spring Festival is packed with flowers, food, crafts and family fun.

Hosted annually at Three Counties Showground in Malvern, RHS Malvern Spring Festival is a partnership between the Royal Horticultural Society, the world’s largest and most prestigious gardening charity, and Three Counties, a specialist rural event organiser and agricultural society dating back to 1797.

There is something for the whole family to enjoy, from a Food & Drink Festival featuring over 80 local and artisan producers from Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire and across the UK.

As a true celebration of the countryside and rural life, with more than 6,000 animals on show across the three days – including horses, pigs, cattle, goats, alpacas and sheep – visitors can look forward to seeing the finest livestock from across the UK
